Welcome to Leadership Potential
Services
I work individually with new leaders to help them lead organizations through culture change, reduce turnover, engage boards in the work, reduce unproductive conflict among leadership teams, and translate strategic plans into strategic action.
In a 2015 Gallup survey, they estimated that only 1 in 10 people have the natural talent/ability to be an effective leader. Meaning the rest of us have to learn and train those same skills. And unfortunately, traditional leadership training (despite being a billion dollar industry) has failed to produce impactful managers and leaders. This Leadership Academy solves this problem with a powerful model that combines coaching, training, peer support, case studies, accountability, and a single-minded focus on improving performance. From covering the fundamental skills to the advanced influence and strategic thinking skills, participants won’t just sit through classroom lessons, but laser focus on skills they can immediately apply back in their job and organization to improve results.
In this customizable course, leaders learn:
– How to leverage their own natural strengths and skills to become the leaders they want to be
– Skills to communicate simply and powerfully for impact up, down, across, and outside the organization
– Frameworks and proven strategies to manage, engage, and get the best out of their employees
– Techniques to think comprehensively about problems and solve them
– Planning and Prioritizing skills to make the most of your most important resources: your time and your employees

Dawn Gannon

Chris is a gifted professional coach who can quickly assess and identify areas for improvement... his unique coaching method is as effective as it is calming and affirming. I enjoyed working with him and highly recommend his services.

Julie Pickett
Chief Financial Officer
It was important that I have a succession plan as a key leader of the organization but, I was simply “stuck” knowing where to begin. I can finally breathe a sigh of relief knowing that I tackled a project which I dreaded. I think this will be impressive to my boss, but better yet, I know it was impressive to me!

Jeffrey Barbers

I was having trouble with being assertive in managing others. I now feel more confident in how I manage…I feel optimistic.

Shaina Lane, PCC, CEC, CPCC

As soon as I feel stuck, Chris swoops in with a question that pushes me to dig a little deeper and think a little harder. My coaching sessions with him have brought forward insights and discoveries that have helped resolve key business challenges for me.

Charles Allen-Allen
Operations Director, Urology, Boston Medical Center
I used to struggle with being concise, confident, and connecting effectively with providers. It was frustrating, people would often ask me to repeat myself, and I felt like my message wasn’t landing. Working with Chris Wong changed everything. Over the past year, I have effectively navigated complex initiatives by presenting challenging processes to faculty, facilitating collaborative project advancement, and articulating staffing needs to leadership, resulting in the approval of previously unbudgeted positions.
