12/02/2025 – Big Update: What’s Changing in 2025

A few years ago, I got inspired to start working on my own with the idea of online courses.

That’s what led me to creating my “Mastering Difficult Conversations” and “Effective Performance Conversations” courses.

But it was only meant to be something on the side, just to help people with hard conversations and build the skills to communicate better.

And 2 years ago when I was laid off, I was forced to rethink that.  It became a more important part of my focus (the bank still wants their money).

And it’s been a great ride, I’ve learned a lot, and helped lots of people handle the hardest of situations.

But, as I hinted last week, my business is taking me in a slightly different direction.

After coaching leaders through complex transitions, I’ve seen firsthand that clarity of direction is essential. This change reflects that clarity — for me and for the leaders I support.

Will I still be focusing on difficult conversations?  Yes

Will I still be doing coaching and consulting? Yes

Will I still be doing the podcast? Yes

But here’s the big change – online courses won’t be part of my work going forward.

In fact, I’m doing other things that I’ve already started talking about and will share more details about over the next few months.

But why does this need to be a newsletter?

Well, it’s because I’m closing out my courses (both of them).

As of January 1st, no one will be able to purchase them anymore.

If you’ve purchased it before the end of the year, you’ll be able to access it forever.

But it won’t be something you can access anymore.

So if you’re interested, this month is essentially your last chance to purchase these courses:

Effective Performance Coaching (this is always free)

Mastering Difficult Conversations (I reduced the price to $97)

Next week, I promise we return to our normal content about navigating difficult conversations and situations!

Thanks for all your support – reply back and let me know if there’s a specific conversation, skill, or situation you’d love to see me cover in future issues!

Cheers,
Chris

P.S. – It’s so hard to say goodbye (bonus points to anyone who knows this song!)
